Job Description: As a Claimant Personal Injury Fee Earner specialising in military claims, you will play a crucial role in supporting a partner with high-value cases and nurturing your own caseload at this firm in Greater Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated legal professional with up to 4 years PQE to gain valuable experience in handling complex military claims and develop their career within our esteemed firm.
Responsibilities:
- Assist a partner in managing a caseload of Claimant high-value military claims, providing support at all stages of the litigation process.
- Conduct legal research, draft documents, and assist with case preparation under the guidance of the partner.
- Liaise with clients, experts, and other stakeholders to gather evidence and facilitate case progression.
- Attend client meetings, court hearings, and negotiations to support the partner in achieving successful outcomes for clients.
- Develop your own caseload of military claims, building relationships with clients and expanding your expertise in this niche area of law.
- Stay updated on relevant legislation and legal developments in military claims to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services.
Requirements:
- Solicitor, CILEx or litigation executive with up to 4 yrs experience
- Strong knowledge and understanding of EL/PL processes and relevant legislation.
- Experience in military claims preferred, but not essential.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when necessary.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional client service and achieving successful outcomes.
