Financial Accountant
Hybrid working role based near Old Trafford with 2 days in the office and 3 days from home. Our client has a first rate record in staff retention, staff wellbeing and work-life balance have always been core values
The Role
We are seeking a fullly, part or qualified by experience accountant to prepare statutory accounts for a range of funds. This role could offer a move from practice or industry.
The role will include;
- Preparation of accounts
- Updating the accounting system with transactions and journals
- Obtaining valuation and disclosure information on scheme investments
- Calculation of accruals and prepayments
- Reconciliation of pension payroll, investments, contributions to accounting records
- Preparation of a trial balance
- Preparation of cash analysis for FRS102
- Liaising with internal Administration, Actuarial and Investment teams to obtain information necessary for drafting accounts.
- Preparation of audit files
- Liaising with auditors and Trustees to resolve audit queries.
