US Property Underwriter – Homeowners / HNW
This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with exposure to US binder underwriting with knowledge of large residential homeowners risks. You could be an advanced assistant underwriter with authority or have experience of renewals authority; you could be working at an MGA/Insurer/Brokers with specialty underwriting platform with delegated authority.
Growing division with some experienced team members to learn from. There will be opportunities to diversify into other classes such as fine art ./ jewellery. Large premiums for residential risks with clients having a high profile nature.
Excellent exposure to individual risk underwriting, there are strong underwriting guidelines in place, and the aim is to continually, aggressively grow this book of business, so the opportunity longer term really does offer a superb development opportunity.
Although ideally US underwriting experience is preferred, they would also consider a HNW underwriting individual who would like to diversify into a US platform.
