Underwriting Assistant Oil and Gas
Our client are looking for a junior Underwriting administrator to provide general support to the Underwriting Assistant and Executive Director of this global energy insurance underwriting business.
Responsibilities will include:
- Input of data onto the risk system
- Assisting with bordereaux entries
- Assisting with production of wordings
- Producing reports for management where required
- Performing general administrative duties where required by other staff members
This is a fantastic opening, and perhaps a first step into the London market. This opportunity could suit an A level leaver, or possibly someone with some insurance administration experience from a regional based company. It will offer you extremely good exposure to the underwriting business, steep learning curve and good contact with brokers. This role would suit an individual who can see themselves working for a very small, bespoke company as an advantage.
