Finance Manager – ACA/ACCA Practice Move
IPS Finance has partnered with an entrepreneurial group based in Harrogate to recruit a finance manager, the post reports to the Financial Director.
This is a modern professional services company operating under a hybrid working model (2 to 3 days home working.)
The Financial Director is practice trained and this post could offer an ideal career move from practice into industry. The business has a number of subsidiary companies and the role will include preparing management accounts and year end accounts for these businesses, making the role an ideal transition from a general accountancy practice role.
Duties include:
- Oversee the teams production of all company accounts and meeting reporting deadlines.
- Support the team in finalising year end accounts and tax computations.
- Support the Finance Director in liaising with external 3rd party advisers.
- Suggest and implement updates and improvements for accounting systems and processes.
- Work with the Finance Director to develop budgets and financial plans for the company based on research and trends.
- Support on due diligence for new prospect business ventures.
