Engineering Underwriter – Assistant Underwriter stepping up?
Engineering Underwriting Opening- salary circa £80,000 + exceptional benefits, hybrid working
Our client is a large global insurer with an established underwriting team within the engineering space.
Due to internal development a position has arisen for a new underwriter headcount. Ideally you should have an EAR underwriting background already, keen to continue to grow your technical expertise across a global portfolio of business.
This is a technical underwriting opportunity, an education within the engineering remit is required and if you perhaps aren’t currently working in underwriting but have a claims, risk management or inspection background with an engineering focus, (civil / mechanical engineering / petrochemicals) this role could open up a route into underwriting.
This could suit an ambitious Assistant Underwriter who doesn’t see the progression or promotion to Underwriter happening any time soon, if you are keen to look at outside opportunities, get in touch now!
