Casualty Underwriter – GL & Med Mal
This opportunity offers fantastic scope for an experienced general casualty underwriter, who ideally has some med mal expertise but who perhaps doesn’t want to specialise in just this area. Alternatively, you could be specialising in med mal but feel that it’s too niche and would like to diversify across a general liability platform.
Undergoing a significant growth period, you will be part of an exciting development programme within this industry practice. The book is has a strong UK presence across both open market, and the delegated space and there is significant partnership development with it’s European offices, with London acting as its centre of excellence. There is strong collaboration with the pricing actuaries withing the group, working closely across all underwriting requirements.
If you have worked within the the corporate / commercial underwriting space and enjoy the technical aspects of underwriting, but have a preference for casualty risks, then this could also be something which may offer you a diverse step in your career. Composite or Lloyd’s background considered.
