Are you a detail-driven Accounts Support Assistant ready to take the next step in your career?
Our client based in the HEART of HORSFORTH is looking for a motivated and organised individual to join their dynamic team! If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy making a real impact, and have at least two years’ experience in an accounts or finance role — we want to hear from you.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a growing company where your contributions truly matter. You’ll play a key role in supporting their financial operations and helping maintain smooth and efficient processes as we scale.
Duties of Accounts Support Assistant:
- Recording and tracking incoming payments from clients
- Preparing and sending out invoices accurately and on time
- Assisting with account statement processing and reporting
- Managing outbound payments to suppliers and service providers
- Setting up new client accounts and archiving old ones
- Collaborating with internal teams to keep everything running efficiently
- Keeping our financial database up to date and accurate
- Carrying out daily bank reconciliations
- Monitoring and helping manage overdue accounts
What You’ll Bring:
- At least 2 years of experience in finance, accounts, or administrative support
- Confidence using accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage) and Excel
- Meticulous attention to detail and a high standard of data accuracy
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks
- Clear and professional communication skills
- A self-starter attitude — you’re proactive, dependable, and solution-focused
- The ability to meet deadlines and stay calm under pressure
