    Role Overview
    A national, award-winning law firm specialising in civil liberties and dedicated to championing justice for vulnerable clients is seeking an Assistant Solicitor to join their acclaimed Civil Liberties Team. The role focuses on high-profile civil claims arising from the Post Office Horizon IT scandal and related litigation.

    Candidate Profile

    • Qualified solicitor, chartered Legal Executive, or Litigation Executive (minimum Grade C or equivalent)
    • 2–4 years’ PQE preferred, with experience in quantification of loss work from serious injury, clinical negligence, industrial disease, or civil liberties backgrounds
    • Strong ability to prepare and draft complex schedules of loss, including past and future losses
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail
    • Ability to interpret medical and accountancy evidence and advise clients accordingly
    • Litigation experience desirable but not essential
    • Highly organised with strong time management skills and ability to prioritise deadlines
    • Exceptional client care skills with the ability to work empathetically with vulnerable clients
    • Proactive, positive attitude with a commitment to career development
