Management Accountant
We are seeking a highly capable management accountant to join a growing commercial business.
The role is open to an AAT or part qualified accountant who will focus on ensuring all financial records are up to date and accurate, whilst supporting the Finance Director in other ad-hoc financial duties as the business continues on its current growth trajectory.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a ‘can-do’ attitude with a keen eye for detail across all aspects of the businesses finances.
You will be working as part of a small agile team, the successful candidate will need a hands-on approach to all duties with an ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments.
Management Accountant Responsibilities:
- Recording day to day financial transactions and bringing monthly results to trial balance stage across sales ledger, purchase ledger and cashbook.
- Quarterly VAT return preparation.
- Balance Sheet reconciliations.
- Support FD in production of daily cashflow forecasts.
- Support FD with provision of information for the audit.
- Work with the FD in the production of monthly management accounts.
