    SME Account Handler – Leeds

    Our well established and growing client is looking for an SME Account Handler. You would play a pivotal role in managing and servicing the insurance needs of small to medium-sized enterprises.

    This position involves building and maintaining strong client relationships, understanding diverse business requirements, and providing tailored insurance solutions. A friendly and professional team located on the outskirts of Leeds, they are welcoming and have a great culture with the onus on professional work and an enjoyable social ethic.

    Key responsibilities include processing new business enquiries, renewals, and mid-term adjustments, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and delivering exceptional customer service to achieve high client retention rates. Due to a significant recent influx of business, this role has been created to support the company’s growth and to continue delivering outstanding service to an expanding client base.

    Brand new appointment with an emerging name in the pensions de-risking sector, working closely with the Head of Transitions, onboarding newly arrived schemes.  The jobholder will  provide bulk purchase annuities technical input across all areas of the business and supporting the implementation process from cradle to grave.   An excellent technical knowledge of this area will be required, clear understanding of pensions administration process and the ability to interface effectively with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.

    About you

    A solid background in the pensions industry is essential for this role, as is being technically focused with an enthusiasm to keep up to date on emerging pensions developments.
    You will possess an in-depth understanding and knowledge of the UK pensions regime and the general pension administration processes.
    Knowledge of DB pensions is essential, though additional knowledge of DC arrangements would also be beneficial
    You will be a good communicator, able to convey complex information clearly and concisely. Excellent analytical skills are also essential.
