We’re working with a highly respected independent broker who is looking to add an Insurance Account Handler to their growing commercial team. You’ll be supporting an Account Executive—who will visit your office once a week – working closely together to deliver excellent service to a portfolio of commercial clients.
You can be based from Warwick, Solihull, Leicester, Northampton, or Stoke-on-Trent, with hybrid or flexible working options available depending on your level of experience.
They’re ideally looking for Account Handlers with at least 2 years of commercial insurance experience. You’ll need to have manual broking experience, and while experience using Acturis is desirable, it’s not essential. Ideally, you’ll have cross-class commercial experience, but if you’ve worked on commercial combined risks alongside other commercial products, that will certainly be considered.
In this role, you’ll handle day-to-day client servicing, assist with renewals, support new business activity, and act as the first point of contact for client queries. It’s a collaborative, client-focused role where communication and attention to detail are key.
Skills required: commercial broking knowledge, manual broking experience, client servicing, attention to detail, team player, confident communicator, organised, adaptable.
In return, you’ll receive a competitive salary and bonus scheme, 26 days holiday plus bank holidays, funded CII qualifications, pension scheme, wellbeing support, volunteering days and more.
