I have partnered with a leading insurer in the London Market seeking a Qualified Actuary (FIA or equivalent) to join their Reserving team.

In this role, you’ll take ownership of quarterly reserving analyses, support Solvency II and Lloyd’s reporting, and provide insights to senior stakeholders. You’ll also work closely with Underwriting, Claims, and Capital teams, helping drive business decisions with actuarial expertise.

    Key Requirements:

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced reserving actuary to step into a visible, commercial role with excellent career progression. Please Reach out to find out more!

An established Lloyd’s syndicate is seeking a Senior Underwriter to support the build-out of its newly created US Property Binders portfolio. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a growing, CAT-exposed book that includes a broad range of US  homeowners & commercial risks, covering a broad appetite including flood, DIC, and mortgage impairment risks . The syndicate writes exclusively on syndicate paper and partners with trusted, coverholder relationships who know their markets well.

This is a clean-slate portfolio with no legacy issues, allowing you to focus on growth without historical constraints. The book is written on a follow capacity only, with ambitions to transition into lead positions over time. Underwriters are supported by a dedicated internal delegated team that handles compliance, due diligence, and operational tasks—freeing up time to focus on underwriting. The successful candidate will work closely with the Class Underwriter and help mentor two Assistant Underwriters, while also contributing to the strategic development of the book. Travel is expected to maintain strong market relationships and support business development.

We’re looking for someone with 3–5 years experience of underwriting US property binders. You should have a solid technical understanding of US property lines and delegated authority structures, and be commercially minded, collaborative, and confident in contributing to a growing team. If you’re ready to support the development of a fresh portfolio within a respected syndicate, we’d love to hear from you.

A well-regarded, A rated Lloyd’s syndicate is seeking a Senior Underwriter to join its Global Direct & Facultative (D&F) Property team. This is a substantial, volume-driven portfolio focused on open market busines. The book spans global territories, with around 80% US exposure, and includes a mix of primary and excess layers across large, complex schedules, soft occupancies and single-location risks. All underwriters are cross-trained across territories and write on both company and syndicate platforms.

The ideal candidate will bring strong underwriting judgment, preferably with US market experience (though international underwriters willing to learn the US market are welcome). A solid understanding of modelling systems is essential due to the portfolio’s CAT exposure. The team values collaboration—accounts are shared, and no one owns a specific broker, client, or territory. With approximately 1,000 risks, the ability to work at pace and make quick decisions is key.

This is a dynamic, down-to-earth team with a strong culture and a focus on growth. The successful candidate will help provide bandwidth to the team, enabling greater focus on marketing and new business development. Everyone contributes to new business and enjoys a good spread of travel (1–4 trips per year). If you’re looking to make an impact in a high-performing, collaborative environment, we’d love to hear from you.
