The Role / Team:
In this role, you will manage your own caseload of complex industrial disease claims. You will conduct policy investigations, make informed liability decisions, and identify recovery opportunities, ensuring claims are handled proactively to reduce litigation. Required Skills & Experience:
We would love to hear from individuals who have a proven background in EL/PL claims, ideally with industrial disease experience and a good understanding of legal terminology. You will need to be confident in engaging with stakeholders at all levels and demonstrate strong decision-making and organisational skills. Candidates from both insurance and legal environments, including claimant or defendant solicitors will be considered.

FNOL Motor Claims Handler
Location: Manchester (office-based during probation)
Salary: £28,000 + 10% bonus
Working Hours: 40 hours per week

The Role:
You will handle First Notification of Loss (FNOL) calls, capturing accurate incident details and assessing the situation to ensure each claim is set up correctly from the very start. You’ll be speaking with customers at a stressful moment, so a calm and reassuring approach is essential as you ensure they receive a seamless journey.
You’ll work closely with internal colleagues and external suppliers to keep processes moving effectively and maintain exceptional levels of service. As the UK operation continues to grow, you’ll also play a role in improving workflows and customer experience.

As a Claims Support Assistant you will be part of the global claims unit supporting the London market Claims Handlers who focus on London market based claims.
You will focus on monitoring claims that are not expected to impact the business financially in support of the vision of being the highest performing specialist insurer.
You will support senior claims management staff by effectively communicating claims updates and escalations, so as to achieve high levels of satisfaction for the insured and broker through high quality service.
There will be a strong focus on data management within the role, assisting with claims data requirements. You will produce and maintain spreadsheets, claims bordereaux and databases to enhance data presentation, analysis, and storage of claims information and data.
To be considered you must have a background within insurance, either within an administrative focused claims, broking or underwriting role. You must also have excellent attention to detail and accuracy and strong communication skills.
