Senior Multi-National Property Underwriter
An excellent opportunity for a experienced Property Underwriter to join this international Insurer as a Senior Multi-National Property Underwriter.
You will manage an established portfolio of medium and large Corporate multinational risks ranging from £150 million to 5 billion. You will write a combinational of UK and international domicilled risks with premium sizes ranging from £50,000 to £5 million.
The role will be a mixture of new business and existing business working mainly with the large national Brokers. You will be expected to visit Brokers around the UK mainly covering the big cities, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Glasgow and Bristol.
Within this role you will be given a level of autonomy to write business that you may not get at other larger Insurers with more constraints. You will use your extensive property experience to develop more junior Underwriters managing any technical queries they have.
You will act as the primary contact for medium and large size clients across the UK in order to main and develop long term relationships.
This is a fantastic opportunity for either a Senior Property Underwriter or an experienced Property Underwriter with the ability to step up in to a Senior Underwriter position. You will be rewarded with a large amount of trust and autonomy to make key decisions and further develop the Birmingham region. Flexibility to work on a hybrid basis will be offered combined with a first class salary and benefits package.
