Senior Catastrophe Modelling Manager
IPS have partnered with a leading insurance broker who are seeking an experienced professional to join the team in a managerial capacity.
Joining a close-knit and collaborative team, you will play a key role in delivering vital modelling and analytics to help shape the business’ decision-making process and identify areas for growth. You will have significant visibility and exposure to both clients and internal stakeholders, including senior management and C-suite, as well as the opportunity to be directly involved in the development of new tools, processes, and workflows. You will also have the chance to step into, or further develop, managerial skills and qualities leading a group of ambitious junior colleagues making this position well suited to those who are eager to advance their career in a leadership role within the market.
To be considered for the above opportunity, applicants should:
- Have demonstrable experience in a cat modelling role using a recognised vendor model (e.g RMS, AIR, or similar)
- Knowledge of SQL and Power BI, with other proficiencies being highly advantageous.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate analytics with both technical and non-technical audiences.
