Senior Accountant
We are working with a growing, well-established, prominent firm of Chartered Accountants based in Halifax, assisting with their search for a Senior Accountant to join their existing team.
About the firm:
With just over 30 staff, this firm offer a variety of services to their wide range of clients. From Audit, Accountancy, Taxation and Business Advice, this firm pride themselves on offering their clients a well-rounded service.
About the role:
- Preparation and review of statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
- Prepare monthly/quarterly management accounts for a range of clients.
- Preparation and review of corporate and personal tax returns.
- Complete and review VAT returns.
- Work with junior members of the team to assist in their training and development.
- Form long-term relationships with clients and colleagues to ensure the long-term success of the firm.
About the candidate:
- Have at least 5+ years’ Practice experience in a relevant role.
- Can be either AAT, ACA, or ACCA qualified or qualified by experience.
- Feel confident liaising with clients and colleagues to assist in the growth of the firm.
Additional information:
- 32 days annual leave including bank holidays.
- Closed for 1 week over Christmas.
- Hybrid working will be considered.

- Salary from £40,000p/a to £50,000p/a.
