Property Claims Handler – Leicester (Office-Based)
Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 (DOE)
Location: Leicester – Full-time, Office-Based
IPS Group is recruiting on behalf of a well-established national property reinstatement and damage mitigation company, known for delivering high-quality solutions to both domestic and commercial clients across the UK.
This Leicester-based role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced Property Claims Handler to join a dynamic and professional team. The position is office-based five days a week, with occasional flexibility for remote work in some circumstances.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage property reinstatement claims from initiation to completion.
- Liaise with contractors, tradespeople, insurers, and clients to coordinate repair works.
- Handle claims arising from fire, flood, and third-party damage (e.g. vehicle impact to walls or fences).
- Maintain accurate diary management and ensure timely progression of claims.
- Deliver clear, professional communication throughout the claims process.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Background in property damage claims, ideally involving general perils or third-party liability.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- Confident communicator with a professional and empathetic approach.
- Proactive and capable of working independently within a collaborative team.
- Must be available to work in the Leicester office full-time; remote working is not standard practice.
