A high-growth, privately owned business with turnover of approximately £70m is seeking a Finance Project Accountant to focus on systems and streamlining processes to support the next phase of its evolution.
This is a high volume transactional business that has expanded rapidly through acquisition and organic growth. As a result, finance operations are currently highly manual and transactional, creating a significant opportunity for the right individual to make a lasting impact by streamlining processes, implementing systems, and driving automation across the function.
This is a 6–12 month fixed-term contract with strong potential to become a permanent role for the right person.
Working closely with senior leadership and the finance team, you will take ownership of improving how finance operates across the business. This role is ideal for someone who is tech savvy and enjoys rolling up their sleeves, identifying inefficiencies, and delivering practical, scalable solutions.
You’ll play a key role in transforming finance from a manual, process-heavy function into a more efficient, technology-enabled operation.
This role would suit an experienced and hands-on finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
You will be:
Experience with systems implementation, process redesign, or transformation projects will be advantageous.
