A respected independent insurance broker is recruiting a Senior Motor Trade Account Executive to drive new business across Birmingham and the surrounding areas. The role suits an experienced, commercially confident producer with strong knowledge of Motor Trade Combined or wider commercial risks. Office attendance is typically two to three days per week, with the remainder spent remotely or visiting clients.
The broker has a solid Motor Trade presence, excellent retention and strong market access. You’ll be supported by a skilled broking team, allowing you to focus on winning and developing high quality clients rather than administration or high volume KPIs.
The ideal candidate is a proven new business generator with the ability to build a pipeline, win face to face meetings and engage confidently with senior decision makers. Strong technical understanding, relationship building skills and the maturity to work autonomously are essential.
Motor Trade experience is preferred, but there is also a clear “Plan B” option: candidates from a commercial combined background with strong technical ability and the drive to transition into Motor Trade. Full support will be provided for the right person.
The role focuses on securing new Motor Trade Combined and wider commercial clients, with Road Risks forming a smaller part of the portfolio. You’ll manage your own workflow, deliver strong technical advice and maintain a visible presence in the market.
