Mid Market P&C Underwriter – Existing Business
An opportunity to join one of the most exciting and fastest-growing insurers in the regional market who are looking to hire an existing business focused Property & Casualty Underwriter. This is an Insurer with a reputation for challenging traditional approaches, this business has built strong momentum through technical underwriting expertise, empowered decision-making and a genuine commitment to broker partnerships. They are a real disrupter in the market.
Working within the mid market team, you’ll underwrite a diverse portfolio of business across sectors including leisure & hospitality, care, education, manufacturing and professional services. You’ll work closely with a panel of key brokers assessing and pricing risks, negotiating terms, managing renewals and delivering profitable growth across your portfolio.
Although this is an existing business focused role it is still a is a visible, market-facing role where you’ll have the autonomy to make sound underwriting decisions while developing strong relationships with brokers and clients. You’ll enjoy the support of an experienced team. There is a defined underwriting appetite and the opportunity to contribute to the continued growth of a business that is quickly becoming a big name in the regional insurance market.
