Media Underwriter / Senior Underwriter
We are partnered with a leading London market carrier seeking to invest in key new media underwriting hires, to work with the senior management team, to develop this entertainment and media specialist division. There are initially two openings, one as a senior underwriting specialist with a key strengths in the E&O area, to assist the oversight and management of this new area – ideally you will have worked within the entertainment space for a minimum of 8 years and have an established profile and network in the London market. There is an additional requirement for an underwriter hire, to support this senior post to really help drive the platform.
Written on both Lloyd’s and company paper, this is a genuine opportunity for a commercially minded individual with entrepreneurial spirit.
This will be a global division, which also currently includes an existing portfolio of high profile, household names. There will be a broad appetite across the platform, offering flexibility and ability to really go out to market to make an established mark – your relationship management ability with both London market and regional brokers will be key. There are partnerships globally including the US which are already established in the entertainment space, and already contribute a significant market share – the aim is to get the London division developing across a similar format.
