Management Accountant
An accountant with experience in the manufacturing sector is sought for our client based in West Leeds.
This is a hands-on role within a close-knit finance function and is ideal for someone who enjoys the nuts and bolts of management accounting within an SME environment.
Main duties of the role:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Maintenance of standard costing and product margin analysis.
- Inventory and stock accounting.
- Accruals, prepayments and journals.
- Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Working closely with operations and production teams to provide meaningful financial insights.
- Cashflow forecasting and cost analysis.
- Supporting year-end audit and liaising with external auditors.
- Identifying and implementing process improvements within the finance function.
Salary: £35,000 – £45,000
