Head of Property
Our client is seeking an established property expert, with a pioneering profile, highly analytical strategist who will be able to steer, elevate and drive profitable growth of its global Property portfolio.
This is a senior management role, which will allow full ownership of the property underwriting strategy; leadership of a high-performing underwriting team, and management of the promotion and development critical broker relationships globally.
This role is designed for a portfolio management expert who can combine traditional technical underwriting discipline with a forward-thinking, tech-driven approach to risk assessment.
Experience should be within the North American Property underwriting specialism, either from a binders or open maket background. Responsibilities include overseeing aggregate exposure management, risk appetites, wording innovations, and pricing models, while collaborating with internal data science teams to integrate automated underwriting infrastructure.
To succeed, you must possess extensive senior-level commercial property underwriting experience, deep knowledge of the Lloyd’s and international insurance markets, and a proven track record of managing multi-million-pound books of business using data-driven insights.
