Finance Manager
Our client is an established SME operating within a specialist environment. Backed by a larger international organisation, they have built a strong reputation for delivering quality products and services to customers across the UK.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this is a broad and autonomous Finance Manager position with responsibility for leading the finance function. You’ll oversee the day-to-day financial operations, produce timely management information, manage cashflow, and ensure accurate reporting to the wider group.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the day-to-day finance function.
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
- Monitor cashflow and prepare forecasts.
- Oversee month-end and year-end processes.
- Maintain accurate financial records and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Prepare VAT returns and support statutory reporting requirements.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Provide financial support and commercial insight to the senior leadership team.
- Liaise with the wider group finance function to ensure reporting deadlines are met.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and controls.
Salary & benefits:
- Salary: £45,000 – £50,000
