Finance Manager
A high-growth professional services firm based in Leeds centre is seeking a Finance Manager to join its expanding team. This is a client-facing role, ideal for an experienced finance professional with either industry or practice experience, who can combine technical expertise with commercial insight.
This is a hybrid role based in a modern city centre office with 2 days WFH.
You will oversee the delivery of accounting services to a portfolio of clients, from management accounts and statutory reporting to one-off finance projects. Acting as a trusted business partner, you’ll work closely with client teams to improve processes, deliver best-in-class finance functions, and provide commercial finance insights that add real value.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop a team, ensuring delivery of accurate, timely client accounting work
- Lead finance function services for new and existing clients
- Oversee management accounts, statutory reporting, and project work
- Deliver process reviews, system insights, and financial remediation projects
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing trusted, commercial advice
- Identify opportunities for business development and enhanced client service
About You:
- Fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with practice or industry experience
- Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, and other local GAAPs
- Proven track record managing client portfolios and leading teams
- Confident communicator with excellent relationship-building skills
- Experienced in cloud accounting systems and finance technology solutions
