Finance Manager
We are recruiting for a Finance Manager to join a well-established family owned manufacturing business based in Leeds. This is a hands-on role where you will take ownership of the finance function while working closely with senior management to support strategic decision-making.
As Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, providing commercial insights, and supporting business growth.
Key duties include:
- Production of monthly management accounts
- Preparing budgets, forecasts, and cash flow models
- Reporting on cost of sales, production costs, margins and profitability by customer and product line
- Working closely with directors and senior management to support decision-making across the business by providing financial insights and strategic guidance
- Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations, ensuring timely submissions of VAT, PAYE and facilitating the accountants to complete the annual accounts
- Overseeing the work of one finance assistant
- Supporting ERP and finance system enhancements
About you
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, engineering, or production environment
- Strong commercial awareness with a proactive, hands-on approach
- Qualified or qualified by experience accountant
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000
