Role Overview
A leading defendant insurance law firm is seeking a Solicitor to join its specialist recoveries team.
This is an excellent opportunity to handle a caseload of household and commercial property recovery claims on behalf of a panel of well-known insurer clients. The role combines high-quality litigation work with genuine client exposure, making it ideal for a technically strong lawyer looking to further develop their expertise within the insurance sector.
In addition to managing complex recoveries matters, you’ll have the opportunity to build client relationships, deliver training, and contribute to seminars and workshops on technical legal issues.
Candidate Profile / Experience Needed
- Qualified Solicitor. with previous experience within a defendant insurance litigation environment.
- Proven recoveries litigation experience.
- Working knowledge of household and commercial property recovery claims.
- Strong drafting, negotiation and advocacy skills.
- Experience dealing with investigations, disclosure, expert evidence and settlement negotiations.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and maintain high attention to detail.
- Confident communicator with strong client relationship skills.
- Comfortable working with case management systems and insurer clients.
