A well-regarded international law firm is looking to recruit a Commercial Disputes Associate with at least 1 years PQE or if NQ, a strong seat in commercial disputes, to join its cross-office disputes team. This is an excellent opportunity for a contentious solicitor to work on a broad mix of commercial litigation, arbitration and alternative dispute resolution matters, supporting clients on both national and cross-border disputes.
The role will involve advising clients on a varied caseload including contractual and commercial disputes, public law disputes, judicial review, procurement litigation, professional negligence, injunctions, reputation management and contentious insolvency. The work often has an international element, offering exposure to complex, high-value and strategically important matters.
The successful candidate will be expected to manage their own caseload, with appropriate supervision, while also supporting partners and senior lawyers on larger and more complex disputes. They will also play a part in developing the team’s commercial litigation offering, building client and intermediary relationships, and contributing to marketing initiatives such as seminars, client training and profile-raising activity.
This opportunity would suit a qualified solicitor who has completed a seat in Commercial Disputes or, for candidates above 1 PQE, has experience in complex commercial disputes.
The firm is looking for someone commercially minded, technically strong and client-focused, with the confidence to take responsibility, manage files efficiently and contribute positively to a collaborative team environment. Drive, enthusiasm, flexibility and a proactive approach to business development will be important.
The role offers strong career development prospects, partner-level support and the opportunity to build a profile within a respected disputes practice, alongside a competitive benefits package.
