Accounts Senior
A modern cloud-based accountancy firm is looking to recruit an experienced Accountant to join their team.
This opportunitiy offers 3 days WFH and flexible start / finish times.
This is an excellent opportunity for a practice-trained accountant who enjoys working with a varied portfolio of clients and wants to join a firm that embraces cloud technology, flexible working and a modern approach to accountancy.
The role will involve:
- Preparing year-end statutory accounts for limited companies and sole traders
- Preparing personal and corporation tax returns, with training available where required
- Producing monthly and quarterly management accounts
- Reviewing bookkeeping records and ensuring the accuracy of financial information
- Working directly with clients, providing accounting support and commercial advice
- Managing your own workload and ensuring deadlines and compliance requirements are met
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience within an accountancy practice
- Strong experience preparing year-end accounts
- Experience with management accounts and financial reporting
- Good knowledge of cloud accounting software such as Xero, Dext and Apron
- Strong communication skills and confidence dealing directly with clients
- Good organisation and attention to detail
