Accounts Manager
An established and forward-thinking independent accountancy firm in York is looking to recruit a Client Manager to manage a portfolio of owner-managed businesses.
The firm is committed to cloud-based accounting and offers a flexible, supportive working environment with a strong emphasis on work-life balance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a portfolio of clients, acting as their main point of contact.
- Overseeing the preparation of annual and management accounts.
- Providing business advisory support, including tax and financial advice.
- Supporting clients with the implementation and effective use of Xero.
- Identifying opportunities to provide additional services to clients.
- Working closely with colleagues to ensure deadlines and service standards are met.
Applicants should have experience working within an accountancy practice, strong client management skills and the ability to provide proactive advice to business owners. Experience using Xero would be advantageous but is not essential.
