This role is ideally suited to an ambitious commercial Account Handler with 2-5 years’ experience who is looking to build a long-term career within the corporate insurance market.
You’ll join an established team supporting a portfolio of significant UK commercial clients, whilst gaining exposure to larger corporate programmes and multinational business. If you’ve built strong commercial insurance foundations and are looking for an opportunity that will broaden your experience and accelerate your development, this could be exactly the move you’ve been waiting for.
Beyond Standard Commercial Broking
Working alongside experienced Account Executives, Account Managers and senior brokers, you’ll support some of the team’s most important clients across a broad range of industries and insurance classes.
The role will involve negotiating directly with insurers, preparing market presentations, obtaining quotations, managing renewals and mid-term adjustments, supporting client servicing activity and assisting with increasingly complex placements as your experience develops.
This is a business looking to invest in potential, not simply hire a finished product.
The Type of Broker We’re Looking For
We’re looking for candidates with approximately 2-5 years’ commercial insurance broking experience who can demonstrate genuine manual broking capability across a broad range of commercial insurance classes.
You should be comfortable dealing directly with insurers and underwriters, negotiating terms, approaching the open market, obtaining quotations and managing client requirements from instruction through to placement and ongoing servicing.
Candidates whose experience has been predominantly e-traded, scheme-based or delegated authority/facility-led will not be considered, as this role requires proven market-facing manual broking experience.
