    We’re currently supporting a successful and expanding organisation within the insurance services sector as they look to appoint an experienced Business Development Manager to join their commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven individual who enjoys developing new opportunities, strengthening existing partnerships and building a strong presence within the insurance market.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop new business opportunities across the UK insurance market.
    • Build and maintain relationships with brokers, insurers, MGAs and other strategic partners.
    • Manage and grow an existing portfolio of accounts, identifying opportunities for further revenue generation.
    • Work closely with internal stakeholders to support successful implementation and ongoing client service.
    • Attend industry events, networking functions and client meetings to promote the business and its solutions.
    • Maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities and deliver against agreed growth targets.
    • Provide market insight and feedback to support wider commercial objectives.

    About You

    • Experience within the insurance market, ideally in a business development, account management or client-facing commercial role.
    • Proven ability to generate new business and develop long-term client relationships.
    • Strong understanding of insurance distribution channels and intermediary relationships.
    • Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
    • Commercially focused, self-motivated and able to work autonomously.
    • Experience working with brokers, insurers, MGAs or affinity partners would be advantageous.
