Underwriter – Renewable Energy
This is an excellent opportunity working for a large corporate insurance group, within the renewable energy space. Our client will look at advanced Assistant Underwriters who have enjoyed some underwriting authority to step up to take on a full underwriter status role.
With this being such a competitive space, applications will also be considered from candidates who are currently working in Engineering, Construction or other related Energy classes that have a keen interest in the renewables space.
This is a global syndicate driven portfolio which continues to see significant growth, will suit an ambitious individual keen to make their mark in this area. The client are expecting 5 years industry experience, ideally someone with an engineering or similar degree with a technical underwriting mind set. If this is an area which has been of particular interest, but you’ve found it difficult to make a break into the renewables platform, then perhaps with this extra flexibility in class acceptance, could make it an easier transition.
