Accounts Manager
Our client is a privately owned business based in West Leeds. The business has a hands on leadership team and values practical, straightforward financial control to support daily operations and decision making.
This role sits as the most senior on-site finance position, taking ownership of the full bookkeeping function and acting as the main finance contact for the directors. You will oversee the daily finances, manage supplier relationships and ensure accurate, timely financial information is available to support the business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Full responsibility for day-to-day bookkeeping using Sage 50
- Maintaining accurate purchase and sales ledgers
- Managing supplier accounts and handling queries directly
- Bank reconciliations and cashflow monitoring
- Processing invoices, payments and expenses
- Supporting the directors with financial information and reporting
- Liaising with external accountants as required
The successful candidate will:
- Have proven experience in a Bookkeeper or Accounts Manager role
- Be confident using Sage 50
- Have strong knowledge of transactional finance and bookkeeping processes
- Be comfortable acting as the main finance point of contact
- Have good attention to detail and a methodical approach
- Be able to work independently in a standalone finance role
Package and working pattern:
- Salary in the region of £40,000 – £45,000 depending on experience
- Site-based role
