Interim Accountant
We are working with a large corporate business in Huddersfield that is seeking an experienced Interim Accountant to support them through the year end audit and on management accounts production. This is a 6 month contract.
There is a hybrid working arrangement with 3 days required in the office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and deliver monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and insight for senior leadership.
- Support the business through the year-end audit process, liaising with external auditors and ensuring compliance with all reporting requirements.
- Act as a finance business partner to key operational teams, providing analysis and financial guidance to support informed decision-making.
- Assist with balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis, and ad-hoc financial projects as required.
- Contribute to process improvements within the finance team to drive efficiency and strengthen controls.
