Management Accountant
Our client is a privately owned, profitable, and growing business based in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, the business has a strong reputation for quality and innovation, supplying to name brand clients across the UK and exporting internationally.
This Management Accountant role offers technical responsibility, commercial exposure, and the opportunity to play a pivotal part in the company’s continued growth. It is an ideal position for an accountant looking to gain broad exposure, influence key business decisions, and develop their career.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting schedules
- Conduct detailed variance analysis and investigate discrepancies
- Deliver daily, weekly, and monthly management reporting, including KPI and cash flow forecasts
- Maintain and update the fixed asset register
- Manage invoice factoring facilities and process weekly and monthly payroll
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies
- Provide cover for transactional duties as required
- Support ad hoc finance tasks and projects, contributing to process improvements
Competitive salary: £50,000 – £55,000
This role is suitable for newly qualified, recently qualified, or experienced Management Accountants, you will have a strong track record of working to tight and recurring deadlines, advanced Excel and ERP skills, and excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
