Technical Property Claims Consultant
A well-known Global Insurer has a unique opportunity to join them as a Technical Property Claims Consultant. This will be a highly technical role focusing on building claims shaping how they are handled across the business using your technical knowledge and in depth industry expertise.
The position will be home based in which you can report to any of the UK offices. You will be expected to travel to other regional offices from time to time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a technical authority in the review, support and resolution of claims, including complaints, in order to achieve optimum settlement in line with the company’s SLA’s.
- Increasing the breadth and depth of technical knowledge and its application across Claims Operations within the Building Claims area, using qualitative checks to identify areas for improvement.
- Networking with internal and external contacts, and representing the company at external meetings
To be considered you must have a high level of technical expertise within building / property claims being an expert in your field. This could be from a technical claims position with an Insurer, TPA or claims business or a loss adjusting or surveying background. You will need to have strong relationship building, influencing, and communication skills, along with the ability to deliver & receive constructive challenge to achieve business targets. You will ensure personal compliance with all legal, regulatory and policy requirements.
